Good morning, everyone. I am Bao Chenxu, Senior Manager of the Softlines Product Line, North China, Bureau Veritas. It is a great honor to attend today’s opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Market Union testing laboratory in Yiwu as a special guest. October 15 is a particularly meaningful day for MU Group: it marks both the official launch of the new testing laboratory and the Group’s annual Quality Day. These two milestones coming together fully reflect MU Group’s long-standing commitment to putting quality first. On behalf of Bureau Veritas, I would like to extend my warmest and most sincere congratulations on the opening of the Market Union testing laboratory in Yiwu.
As a long-term strategic partner, we have witnessed firsthand MU Group’s rapid growth and comprehensive transformation over the past several years. Against the backdrop of a complex and changing global trade environment and increasingly intense industry competition, MU Group has continued to break through challenges, improve steadily, and maintain strong growth momentum, achieving remarkable results in foreign trade exports. Its overseas market footprint has continued to expand, its export categories have been optimized and upgraded, its customer portfolio has evolved toward higher-value, higher-quality, and more stable relationships, and its brand influence has grown from a regional presence to nationwide recognition and from China to the global market.
It is clear to us that MU Group is no longer a foreign trade company focused simply on scale. It has achieved a high-quality transformation from merely “going global” to operating more steadily, reaching farther, and moving upmarket. The foundation behind MU Group’s rapid development in foreign trade, rising market reputation, and increasingly solid brand position is its long-term commitment to product quality, continued investment in quality control, and persistent dedication to craftsmanship.
On the occasion of MU Group’s Quality Day, I would also like to make a sincere appeal: quality is the lifeline of an enterprise and the most fundamental, enduring source of competitiveness for a foreign trade company. Market prices may become increasingly competitive, industry margins may fluctuate, and order structures may change, but product quality, safety standards, and compliance systems remain the essential foundations that enable companies to navigate industry cycles, withstand market risks, and establish a strong position in global markets. I hope everyone in our industry will continue to respect, prioritize, and uphold quality; integrate quality awareness into corporate development strategies; and embed quality control throughout R&D, sourcing, production, testing, and export. Strong quality should support the long-term development of foreign trade, while integrity and craftsmanship should strengthen the global reputation of Chinese manufacturing.
The completion and launch of the laboratory today is one of the strongest examples of MU Group’s commitment to prioritizing, deepening, and upgrading quality management. Building a professional and standardized in-house testing laboratory marks a new stage in MU Group’s quality control system, moving from post-production inspection toward preventive quality management and end-to-end control. It also provides a solid hardware and systems foundation for the Group to continue developing higher-end overseas markets, strengthening its foreign trade advantages, and improving its international competitiveness.
As a globally recognized testing, inspection, and certification organization, Bureau Veritas and MU Group have worked closely together for many years, supporting each other through challenges and creating value together. Looking ahead, we will continue to uphold the principle of long-term partnership and in-depth empowerment, providing MU Group with continued cooperation, support, assistance, and independent oversight.
We will continue to deepen our cooperation and expand its scope across product testing, management-system certification, compliance upgrades, and alignment with overseas standards. We will continue to support the development of MU Group’s laboratory capabilities, strengthen team expertise, and advance the standardization of its testing systems, further reinforcing internal quality-control capabilities. We will continue to provide timely updates on international regulations, market-access standards, and product risk alerts, helping the company address export challenges, quality issues, and compliance requirements. We will also continue to provide independent third-party oversight with impartiality, rigor, and professionalism, helping safeguard product quality, maintain quality baselines, and protect export compliance requirements so that every product delivered by MU Group can stand up to market scrutiny, regulatory standards, and the expectations of customers around the world.
In the future, Bureau Veritas will continue to work alongside MU Group and empower each other. We will use professional expertise to support quality upgrades and the power of standards to support the growth of foreign trade, while fully supporting MU Group as it continues to achieve breakthroughs and strengthen its leadership in global markets. We look forward to seeing MU Group’s brand influence become broader, stronger, and more firmly established internationally.
Finally, I would once again like to congratulate the laboratory on its successful opening and wish it a bright future. I also wish MU Group continued success and high-quality growth in its global trade business.
Thank you.
