On January 5th, Hongqiao Office of Group’s Shanghai Operation Center celebrated its relocation, marking the new beginning in the new year. Group President, Tom Tang, President Assistant of MU Group and General Manager of Operation Division, Sam Zhu, General Manger of MARVEL ACME DIVISION OF MU(1931), Jason Wu, and Senior Director of EUROPEAN UNION DIVISION OF MU(1931), Davy Shi, along with colleagues working in Shanghai, attended the event.
Following the relocation, EUROPEAN UNION DIVISION OF MU(1931)and Team D of FREE MARKET have relocated to a new workspace. The Office is located in the Hongqiao business district, featuring well-equipped facilities and a vibrant entrepreneurial atmosphere. After the relocation ceremony, Tom Tang engaged in communication with colleagues. He pointed out that e-commerce is impacting the U.S., European markets, and corporate customers with low prices. The competitive and cooperative relationships are gradually blurring. In today’s retail industry, disintermediation and de-branding are trends, providing MU with more opportunities to sell goods directly to global retailers, including e-commerce. In the future, the focus should be on professional product lines, enhancing product development and design capabilities, and supply chain management. It is necessary to explore the supply chain in-depth to create more significant business opportunities and optimize it to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and create more significant business value, offering customers diverse choices and services.
On September 18, 2017, after establishing the operation centers in Ningbo and Yiwu, MU set up the third Operation Center at the Yinfang 928 Chuangyiyuan in Shanghai. It has expanded to include the Yangpu Office and the Hongqiao Office. Adhering to the principles of being close to customers, sources, and talents, the relocation of the Hongqiao Office not only significantly shortens the commuting time for colleagues but also extends a warm invitation to more Shanghai foreign trade professionals. It sincerely welcomes outstanding individuals to join MU Group!
The trumpet of the “100-Day Struggle” in 2024 has already sounded, and the new environment signifies a new starting point. It is believed that colleagues, especially those from the Hongqiao Office of Shanghai Operation Center, will adapt to the local conditions, keep pace with the times, and better create value for customers in the new two decades, providing global customers with Chinese products and services of extreme cost performance.
