On November 14, Wu Xiangren, Member of the Party Committee of the Directly Subordinate Organs of the Ministry of Commerce and Party Secretary of China World Trade Center Co., Ltd., visited MU Group to conduct research on Party building work. He was received by Tom Tang, President of the Group, and Eric Zhuang, Vice President and Party Secretary of the Group.
Eric Zhuang reported that the Group’s Party Committee currently has 249 Party members and oversees seven Party branches, achieving full coverage of Party organizations and activities across the two major operational headquarters in Ningbo and Yiwu. The Party Committee continuously promotes the deep integration of Party building with business operations. When facing major challenges, Party members have consistently led from the front. During the pandemic, Party members were the first to step forward, fully demonstrating their pioneering and exemplary role.
Tom Tang emphasized that just as the people’s army follows the Party’s command, the company upholds the principle of “all actions follow the company’s command,” ensuring the capability to fight and win battles at every stage of the company’s development, thereby enhancing overall cohesion. The Group places great importance on red education. It once organized more than 1,400 colleagues to visit Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing to retrace the footsteps of revolutionary predecessors, study the “Red Boat Spirit,” and celebrate the centenary of the Party’s founding. Toward the end of the pandemic, the Group took the lead in launching campaigns such as the “Hundred Regiment Campaign—Hundreds of Teams, Hundreds of Countries, Thousands of Cities,” actively securing orders and expanding markets, achieving remarkable results. In addition, the Group has organized senior leaders to visit red historical sites such as the former residences of Chen Wangdao and Feng Xuefeng to revisit revolutionary memories and draw inspiration for the company’s development.
Wu Xiangren introduced the development history and business scope of the China World Trade Center. He pointed out that Party building among private enterprises in Ningbo is at the forefront of the nation, and that MU Group’s practical efforts provide a vivid example, fully demonstrating the essential role of Party building in uniting teams and driving high-quality enterprise development.
The visit was accompanied by Yang Yonggen, Director of the Party Office of China World Trade Center; Han Jun, Deputy Party Secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce; and Zhu Jianmin, Deputy District Mayor of Yinzhou District.
