MU GROUP | Dual Strategic Suppliers Fashion Showcase

Six years of dedication, one moment to shine. On January 6, more than 1,000 Dual Strategic Suppliers gathered at the newly completed MU Building in Yiwu to discuss and celebrate the “Road to 10 Billion USD.” Raising glasses and sharing insights, partners came together in a night of unity and ambition.

The event was attended by Group President Tom Tang, along with Group leaders Jeff Luo, Henry Xu, Amenda Weng, Eric Zhuang, Sam Zhu, Amanda Chen, William Wang, Ken  Huang, Jessie Lai, and Ellen Xiang, as well as heads of various business departments and subsidiaries, and purchasing colleagues from across the Group.

At the Yiwu Operations Headquarters, the atmosphere was vibrant and bustling despite the winter chill. With 12 major product categories and 4 exhibition zones fully occupied, the MU Building transformed into a dedicated “Canton Fair” exclusively for Dual Strategic Suppliers. New demands, new products, and new orders collided and converged — marking the beginning of deeper, more comprehensive collaboration in the year ahead.

Suppliers are the backbone of our business, and serving suppliers is part of our culture. As the audience raised their glasses together, the Dual Strategic Suppliers Fashion Showcase officially opened with a resounding chant of “The Road to 10 Billion USD!” This was not only a heartfelt declaration from every MUers, but also a promise to our suppliers—a promise backed by real orders, not empty words. The opening dance performance Supernatural ignited the stage and set the tone for the night.

Tom Tang delivered a keynote presentation on the “Road to 10 Billion USD.” He outlined the Group’s vision: achieving USD 10 billion in three years, becoming the world’s largest global trade company, and building China’s first all-category supply chain management enterprise going global, providing global customers with Chinese products and services of extreme cost performance.

He emphasized that the pursuit goes beyond profit—rejecting short-term gains to become a better MU. While acknowledging that the Group has not yet reached the level of a truly great company, he expressed confidence that through strong organizational strength and culture, MU can weather industry downturns and steadily grow into greatness under the right conditions.

The consumer goods industry remains a massive market with significant growth potential, and MU is still in the early stages of its expansion, with vast room ahead. Scale will become our moat—there are no shortcuts. Be the customer’s largest supplier, and the supplier’s largest customer.

Full categories. Full channels. Full platforms. Global reach. Full business models. By focusing on products, markets, and customers—and doing these better than anyone else—MU can create extraordinary value for its customers.

With deep gratitude to all suppliers for their unwavering support, Tom concluded with heartfelt words: “One family. One heart. One fight. One victory.”

A scroll carries years of shared memories; a showcase unites countless journeys. During the banquet, Tom Tang unveiled a specially customized commemorative gift titled “Dual Strategic Supplier Fashion Showcase & Supplier Open Day.” As the scroll unfolded, it revealed moments and memories shared between MU Group and her supplier partners over time.

Strategy must be grounded in solid commitments. Representatives from 12 Dual Strategic Suppliers signed cooperation agreements on-site, pledging to achieve higher collaboration goals together in the coming year. The “500 Suppliers × 100 Million RMB” Plan represents MU’s commitment to its partners—supporting 500 suppliers each with annual cooperation exceeding RMB 100 million.

Lou Qijun, General Manager of Yiwu Jiawen Pet Products Co., Ltd., shared a partnership story spanning 27 years. Starting with just a few containers of hair accessories, MU brought him not only the largest business opportunity of his life, but also guided his transformation from a small workshop into a standardized, professional pet products manufacturer. He witnessed MU’s growth from a small team to a USD 2 billion enterprise, standing together through the pandemic and tariff wars. During the company’s lowest moments, MU once again extended support by connecting him with customers. His sincere and heartfelt story embodied the concept of “growing together through companionship.”

Wang Zongjun, General Manager of Ningbo Foryour Technology Co., Ltd., reflected on his company’s journey from zero to rapid growth under MU’s support. From a single business license and borrowed deposits to scaled expansion, Foryour’s growth DNA has been shaped by MU’s financial support, management empowerment, and quality control systems. He shared an emotional message: “Our dream is not to be pulled forward by MU forever, but to grow stronger through challenges—until one day we can stand confidently beside you and explore the vast future of the LED lighting industry together.”

Yan Fei, General Manager of COSCO Shipping Container Lines (Ningbo), highlighted the trust built between COSCO and MU—from route cooperation to full-scale strategic coordination. She demonstrated COSCO’s systematic capabilities in building stable and resilient supply chains and presented Tom Tang with a COSCO ship model. She reaffirmed COSCO’s commitment to remain MU’s most reliable and steadfast “maritime artery” and “land bridge,” serving not only as a stabilizer but also as an accelerator for foreign trade growth.

The Dual Strategic Supplier Awarding Ceremony & Supplier Open Day, initiated in 2019, has now been held 83 times, with this event marking the 83rd session. Representatives from 23 suppliers took the stage to receive Strategic Cooperation Gold Awards, Strategic Development Silver Awards, and Partner Medals, personally presented by Tom Tang.

MU Group adopts a “Dual Strategic” supplier cooperation model, fully sharing supplier resources. Serving suppliers will remain a long-term cultural commitment, continuously evolving with new content and development paths.

Continuing the creative concept of “telling MUer’s own stories,” a multidimensional showcase of hard work, sports, and fashion unfolded.
MU’s vision is a worldwide fashion business organization within 30 years (2004 – 2033). Fashion is reflected not only in daily professionalism and spirit, but also in MU’s wolf-like drive and student mindset.

Building an athletic organization—run faster, jump higher, and enjoy the journey. From energetic cheerleading to frisbee teamwork and basketball competition, this was the most vivid interpretation of “MU in Sports.”

In global markets, language is the bridge that connects the world. With outstanding language skills, MUer unlock both blue-ocean and red-ocean markets, ensuring every step on the Road to 10 Billion USD is firmly grounded. They are the “BenBen” team members clocking in across the globe.

Since 2023, the Top Ten Singers Competition has been held for three consecutive years. From masked singers to powerhouse vocalists — “The world wounds me, and I respond with song.” Ham Wang from Design department, Tina Cao from Logistics department, Yoyo Zuo from Administration department, Shrek Shi from System Architecture department and Mia Wu from Administration department delivered “Alliance of Strivers,” voicing the fighting spirit of “BenBen.” This was followed by performances from Adonis Zhang of Skylark Network and other singers.

The event featured three rounds of lucky draws, including MU IP merchandise “BenBen Temperature Awards” and Huawei products — paying tribute to all partners who “believe simply and persist foolishly.”

As the melody of “Happy Birthday” filled the hall, a customized giant cake was brought on stage. 79 supplier partners celebrating birthdays that month joined together for a collective celebration. This unexpected yet thoughtfully prepared moment filled the venue with the warmth of a MU family banquet.

The story of striving continues—growing together with MU. Let us join hands to create value for customers, promote Chinese products worldwide, and solemnly embark on the journey toward the goal of USD 10 billion in three years!
