On the morning of July 15th, the 10th Yiwu Global Business Blood Donation Day, themed “Global Commerce, Universal Compassion” was officially launched. MU Group was honored with the Outstanding Organization Award and received a 10th Anniversary Commemorative Monument. Additionally, our colleague Fang Xiaoshan from the Group Administration Service Center was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation. The event was attended by Li Rui, Vice Mayor of Yiwu.
Since its establishment in 2016, the Yiwu Global Business Blood Donation Day has become the first public welfare brand in China named after “Global Business.” Over the past decade, it has attracted more than 7,200 participants, with a total blood donation volume exceeding 2.2 million milliliters. It vividly embodies Yiwu’s “Six Yi Culture,” which emphasizes righteousness and moral business practices—”righteousness first, balancing profit with integrity.”
Through their selfless contributions, both Chinese and international merchants have not only built bridges of friendship between nations but also demonstrated Yiwu’s open and inclusive spirit. Their efforts have brought greater acclaim to Yiwu in the fields of international trade and cultural exchange.
Wang Dong, Director of Yiwu Bureau of Commerce, and Lou Jingmin, Director of Yiwu Health Commission, both delivered speeches. They praised the “Yiwu warmth” and “business compassion” cultivated through a decade of blood donations and affirmed the positive role of enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibilities.
As a key supporting organization of this event, MU Group has consistently upheld the philosophy of “building a kind company” and actively participated in public welfare efforts. During the pandemic, the Group encouraged employees to donate blood, provided nutritional compensation, and awarded Silver Medals to each donor, passing on love through action and contributing to a more harmonious society.
