On March 31, 2024, the MU Yiwu Building successfully topped out, marking a significant milestone in its construction progress. Since its groundbreaking ceremony held on August 3, 2022, it has taken a total of 606 days to reach this stage of completion.
Situated in the Yiwu Financial Business District, enjoying convenient transportation and thriving commercial activities due to its prime location,the project covers a total construction area of nearly 855,000 square meters, integrating various functions such as offices, exhibition halls, and staff apartments. It can accommodate the office needs of 5,000 people, comprising the East and West Towers, with heights of 19 and 23 floors, respectively. The underground structure spans three floors with an area of 33,000 square meters.
From blueprint to towering skyscraper, every detail showcases meticulous craftsmanship, and each construction phase embodies sweat and dedication. Following the successful topping out, work will proceed in sequence including masonry, installation, interior decoration, and leasing activities. The project team will continue to tackle challenges head-on, rigorously overseeing the “safety checkpoint”, “quality checkpoint”, and “progress checkpoint”. While ensuring safe construction and project quality, every effort has been made to guarantee construction progress, ensuring efficient and high-quality completion for commissioning.
The group has also specially prepared souvenirs for the frontline workers as a token of appreciation for their tireless efforts during the construction process. The sweat of their labor deserves respect and commendation.
Two skyscrapers stand adjacent to each other, with their podium levels enclosing a commercial district business park. Upon completion, the MU Building will further enrich its internal ecosystem and officially initiate a comprehensive leasing program, inviting a wide range of businesses. Integrating banks, cafes, restaurants, fresh supermarkets, medical aesthetics centers, fitness facilities, training institutions, upscale business hotels, and other diverse business formats, it aims to create an organic linkage with office spaces, thus forming a multifunctional commercial complex.
Having rooted and cultivated in Yiwu for 25 years, Yiwu Operation Center of MU Group has developed into one of the largest international trade export groups in Jinhua and Yiwu.
