On October 17, Wen Jianfei, Vice Mayor of Jinhua, Vice Secretary of the Yiwu Municipal Party Committee, and Mayor of Yiwu, visited the Guangzhou Operations Center, inspected the Group’s Westin Showroom, and toured the company’s booth at the first phase of the Canton Fair. Gary Li, Managing Director of INNOVATION DIVISION OF TENSUN NETWORK, and Conan Wu, Deputy Political Commissar of the Guangzhou Operations Center, accompanied the visit.
At the Westin Showroom, Mayor Wen praised the company’s approach of setting up a 3,000-square-meter permanent showroom adjacent to the Canton Fair venue. He suggested that relevant departments study the feasibility of establishing a Yiwu Small Commodities Display Center in Guangzhou, providing year-round exhibition services for small and micro export enterprises, creating a “never-ending Canton Fair,” and exploring multi-channel cooperation opportunities.
During the visit to the company’s booth at the 138th Canton Fair, Mayor Wen carefully inquired about target markets, customer visits, and order transactions while touring the booth. As the Canton Fair gathers thousands of merchants and is currently China’s longest-running comprehensive international trade event, he advised exhibiting companies to integrate customer and supplier resources, and to guide visitors from the Canton Fair to the Yiwu market. He also suggested that the Bureau of Commerce and relevant departments encourage companies to develop comprehensive online and offline marketing channels to attract customers to the Yiwu Market.
The visit was accompanied by Shao Chunhong, Vice Mayor of Yiwu; Wang Zhiqiang, Director of the Municipal Government Office; and Wang Dong, Director of the Bureau of Commerce, among others.
