On June 11, the opening ceremony of ANHUI JULI PLASTICS MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. was held in Yeji District, Lu’an City, Anhui Province.
The event was attended by Cui Ling, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yeji District Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor; Liu Meisheng, Deputy District Mayor; Tai Xiaobo, Director of the District Investment Promotion and Innovation Center; Tom Tang, President of MU Group; Jeff Luo, Vice President of MU Group; Jiang Tao, General Manager of ANHUI JULI PLASTICS MANUFACTURING CO., LTD.; Jacky Zhou, General Manager of Bright Max Co., Ltd.; as well as colleagues from related business divisions and subsidiaries.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, district leaders together with President Tom Tang, Vice President Jeff Luo, and General Manager Jiang Tao jointly cut the ribbon, marking the beginning of a new chapter of high-quality development for JULI.
On behalf of the District Committee and District Government, Executive Deputy District Mayor Cui Ling delivered a speech. She stated that JULI Plastics is a key investment project in Yeji District. From signing the agreement to commencing production, the project demonstrated the “JULI Speed,” becoming a vivid example of close cooperation and mutual support between government and enterprise.
She also shared several heartwarming stories about the district’s “mother-style service” during the project’s implementation. These included helping executives arrange school enrollment for their children, setting up parking areas for electric scooters in the factory, improving the surrounding environment according to the needs of foreign trade enterprises, and launching a “one-stop joint acceptance mechanism” during project completion to ensure timely and compliant production.
She emphasized that Yeji District will continue to optimize its business environment and provide strong support for enterprise development. She also expressed hope that MU Group would further deepen its presence in Yeji and attract more supply chain enterprises to settle in the area.
General Manager Jiang Tao shared his personal story: “I left my hometown at the age of 18 and returned at 48 to start my own business. Thirty years have passed, and finally, I have come home.”
He introduced the new factory, which integrates employee dormitories, workshops for modified materials, mold development, packaging, efficient logistics and shipping areas, as well as a comprehensive office building. The facility is equipped with 58 fully automated injection molding machines and production lines, along with four GRS recycled material production lines, with further expansion already under planning.
He stated that the factory will closely follow MU Group’s strategic goal of “The Road to 10 Billion USD,” maintaining confidence, rigor, and steady progress. He also expressed gratitude to the leaders of Yeji District and the Development Zone for their strong support throughout the construction and commissioning process, and firmly believes that JULI Plastics will continue to grow and thrive in Anhui.
“Let’s strive together and build together,” he said.
Vice President Jeff Luo reviewed the journey of cooperation between MU Group and JULI Plastics in establishing the factory. Since trial production began at the end of April, the factory has welcomed more than ten groups of customers. One important customer highly praised the factory after the visit and quickly placed an order.
“We will repay this trust with hard work and tangible results,” he said.
President Tom Tang remarked:
“No matter how tall a tree grows, its leaves eventually return to their roots.”
He noted that Jiang Tao’s decision to return to Yeji and start a business in his hometown carries special meaning. Likewise, for an enterprise, owning its own land and factory is an equally special milestone.
President Tang recalled that when MU Group moved into a new office building in Yiwu in 2011, the property was rented, and even installing electrical wiring required the landlord’s approval because it was his first property development. Watching a building rise from empty land creates a unique emotional connection.
“I believe this is exactly how General Manager Jiang feels today—not only returning to his hometown, but also owning his own factory and land.”
President Tang also praised Anhui’s rapid development. Traveling from the high-speed railway station, he was impressed by the modern highways and railway container transportation system. He expressed confidence that JULI Plastics will enjoy tremendous growth opportunities in this region.
“What makes a good factory?” President Tang asked.
“The answer is simple: customer recognition.”
“When customers visit, approve of the factory, place orders, and those orders are successfully delivered, the business will naturally continue to grow.”
He hopes JULI Plastics will eventually become a vertically integrated enterprise, covering the entire value chain—from waste plastic recycling and material regeneration to manufacturing, sales, and even retail.
“If the JULI model proves successful, we hope to build an even larger factory in the future. This process takes time, but I believe that through long-term dedication, we can achieve it.”
After the ceremony, cakes were shared to celebrate the occasion. Guests then toured the injection molding workshop, mold R&D center, raw material warehouse, GRS filament workshop, packaging workshop, and finished goods warehouse, experiencing the factory’s modern production processes firsthand.
