MU News | The Mobilization Ceremony of Decisive Battle in Guangzhou & 20th Anniversary Investiture

On April 11, 2024, the Mobilization Ceremony of Decisive Battle in Guangzhou & 20th Anniversary Investiture was held simultaneously in the Ningbo Binjiang Workspace, the Dajia Center Workspace, the Yiwu Beiyuan Workspace, and the Yiwu Financial and Business Workspace. Attending the event were Tom Tang, President of the Group, and Group leaders including Jeff Luo, Henry Xu, Amenda Weng, Eric Zhuang, Amanda Chen, William Wang, and Sam Zhu.

The goal must be lofty, selecting a high position to stand. Due to their inability to participate in the 2023-2024 Middle and Senior-Level Cadres Meeting of MU Group, the department heads/company leaders first joined the pledge signing ceremony. The Ningbo and Yiwu dual “theaters” cooperated, conducting online and offline operations simultaneously. Every stroke and digit represented not just numbers and targets but also the driving force and direction of progress.

Believing is seeing. The rapid development of an enterprise relies on a team that follows all the company’s commands. Faced with crises, doubts, and uncertainties, colleagues from the former Department P of GENERAL UNION and Stationery Business Department chose to continue believing in the company, seeking breakthroughs through hard work. They were awarded bronze medals.

Over the past year, the orderly implementation of the Group’s 20th-anniversary series of events has spread the brand story and showcased the brand culture. The 20th-anniversary celebration has had a certain impact and reputation in the international trade industry. Staff members were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals as recognition of their past work and as expectations and responsibilities for the future.

A spark can start a prairie fire. The growth process of twenty years is inseparable from the struggle and hard work of every MUer, who collectively have shaped the company’s present. Previously, we honored meritorious MUers and outstanding MUers at the 20th-anniversary ceremony and Middle and Senior-Level Cadres Meeting. Today, we continue to honor nearly 1000 contributing MUers. This not only represents a complete and profound conclusion but also pays tribute to all the strugglers!

Lastly, Tom Tang delivered the mobilization speech about decisive battle in Guangzhou. He emphasized that it was not just about one city but about maintaining a combative state throughout the entire Canton Fair period. This year, the company has held many celebration and commendation activities, including collective oaths and today’s mobilization, because 2024 is a crucial year. Today, the company faces significant pressure. MU is not a company that forces struggle or overtime, nor is it a company where one can laze around. All MUers must be ready to invite and receive customers at the Canton Fair showroom and company showroom, and make every effort to move forward!

When New China was founded, the Monument to the People’s Heroes was built, with the inscription not mentioning the Communist Party, as it was dedicated to all people’s heroes. In the list of 20th-anniversary honors, some are former colleagues, even competitors, because honor belongs not only to current colleagues but also to those who have struggled here before. MU does not need cultural walls or cultural exhibition halls. The names of colleagues are the best corporate cultural exhibition halls, engraved in MU’s history and witnessed silently in every corner where we work. Many colleagues may feel that a medal is not valuable, but if, twenty years from now, fifty years from now, or even one hundred years from now, MU becomes a world-class company, today’s medals will have meaning and value, becoming the pride of tomorrow.

“This is the final battle, unite until tomorrow!” All MUers, from April 11th to May 10th, enter level one readiness and prepare for the Decisive Battle of Guangzhou!
